Dreams of the children of Chocó are transported in helicopters of the Air Force

cogfm-fac-transportan-tablas-surf-choco-31.jpg

Facing heavy winds and the high tide of the Pacific Ocean at this time, the crew of the COLOMBIAN AIR FORCE helicopter 41003 completed 0the mission, reaching the hamle0t Termales, municipality of Nuquí, in Chocó, because on board was the most precious present for children and young people from this secluded region, who of the ground were eagerly awaiting the landing of the Black Hawk of the Air Combat Command No.5 and opened its doors to receive the surfboards.

In an articulated work through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, the Embassy of Australia, the Colombian Air Force managed to transport the main instrument to fulfill the dream of hundreds of children. According to the Mayor of Nuquí, Everto López Perea "with these tables we are taking children away from war and we are preparing them for peace, so that they can move away from bad paths and dedicate instead to sports, through these tables; in the same way we save lives ".

It seems a sport that very few can access and surfing on a bed table, as they did years ago, is totally different from doing it on a real surfboard, or at least something designed to enter the sea and facing the imposing waves. So Néstor Tello, a professor of surfing, expressed with great emotion "thanks a lot to the Air Force because seeing a helicopter landing on this beach and bringing us boards, bringing us life, is a great motivation because they bring us more happiness".
