A helicopter in the Angel configuration arrived at the village of Mand茅, municipality of Urrao, Antioquia, to carry out the humanitarian aeromedical evacuation of two pregnant women who required urgent medical assistance.

The complex geographical conditions for accessing the extraction site were no impediment, so that the Air Combat Command No. 5, in Rionegro, after the respective coordination with the National Personnel Recovery Center -CENRP and the Emergency and Emergency Regulatory Center - CRUE, a UH-60 Black Hawk took off to provide immediate support to the requirement of pregnant mothers aged 19 and 33.

During the flight, after 30 minutes, on the approach to the city of Medell铆n, the youngest mother began the final phase of the childbirth labor, with the help of medical personnel and rescuers, who thanks to their professionalism and instruction stabilized and assisted the emergency in a timely manner until the moment of landing at the Pedro Justo Berr铆o Battalion.

Immediately after being transferred by ambulances by health care personnel, the 19-year-old had to be assisted along with the military medical personnel of the aircraft to continue with the labor, finishing successfully the miracle of bringing a new life safe and sound and protecting at all times the good physical condition of the mother and the baby.
