Eleven illegal laboratories for the production of cocaine base were destroyed, in Antioquia

In the municipalities of San Luis and San Francisco, through a joint, coordinated and interagency operation, the weekend was possible to find, prosecute and destroy 11 rudimentary laboratories for the production of cocaine base.

These structures were in rural and mountainous areas of these communities, where liquid and solid substances and supplies used for the production of narcotics such as chopped and macerated coca leaf, DIESEL, cement, lime, valued at around USD $20,000 were found and destroyed.

The Colombian Air Force, the National Army, the Police and the Attorney General's Office obtained this important result that weakens the finances of the Organized Armed Groups (GAO) ELN and the GAO Clan del Golfo.

Through operations like this, the Colombian Air Force, together with other State institutions, combat the problem of drug trafficking and contributes to the security of territories harmed by this type of illicit procedures.
