* So far this year, the Colombian Navy has found 15,849 kilograms of cocaine in the Colombian Pacific, preventing more than $534 million from entering drug trafficking organizations.

In development of a river operation against drug trafficking, the Colombian Navy in a joint operation with the National Army made the finding of 300 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, in a rural area of Buenaventura.

Units of the Navy Infantry River Battalion No.24 detected a boat with three crew members traveling on the Naya River, Puerto Merizalde, Special District of Buenaventura - Valle del Cauca, who, noticing the work of the authorities, looked for a beach on the banks of the river and started to escape.

During the inspection of the ship, military personnel found inside eight sacks with 300 rectangular packages, which had characteristics similar to cocaine hydrochloride. The boat and the drug found were transported to the port of Buenaventura, where the Judicial and Criminal Investigation Section of the National Police conducted the Approved Preliminary Identification Test - PIPH, which tested positive for 300 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.

With this finding, more than 10 million dollars were prevented from entering the Residual Organized Armed Group, Structure 6.
