Vichada. The joint work of the Migration Special Group that counts on the elements from the National Navy, the National Army, the National Police, the Directorate of National Taxes and Customs, Migration Colombia, the Transit and Transportation Inspectorate, the Ministry of Health and the Ombudsman's Office, achieved the discovery of 10 foreign motorcycles, valued at twenty million pesos, which entered illegally the country, in the municipality of Puerto Carre帽o, in the department of Vichada.
The search, control, security and fluvial surveillance operations, carried out in La Rampa sector, on the banks of the Meta River, led the authorities to find ten motorcycles, most of which did not have license plates. At the time of the inspection, it was verified that the vehicles had been illegally entered into the country since they did not have the documents required by the National Tax and Customs Office.
The ten vehicles were put into custody of the Transit and Transportation Inspection of Puerto Carre帽o.
In the same sector, 60 kilograms of meat and 12 kilograms of perishable food of foreign origin were found by troops. These elements did not comply with current sanitary regulations. The 72 kilograms of contraband perishable food were put into custody of the DIAN and the Municipal Health office.
