Gaula of the Navy captures three individuals accused of trafficking of drugs in Sucre

In a coordinated operation of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the Navy in the department of Sucre, with the National Police, it was possible to capture two men and a woman with more than two kilos of marijuana, which were intended to be sold near several schools in Sincelejo.

 

The operation was carried out in the Mano de Dios neighborhood, where members of the Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) and units of the Judicial Investigation Section, Sijin of the Police, by means of a raid, captured these three people 22, 27 and 36. The individuals were put into custody of the specialized Prosecutor's Office 138 of Montería, Córdoba, for prosecution for the crime of carrying, manufacturing, and drug trafficking.

 

During the year, the Caribbean Naval Force has achieved the discovery of more than five tons of marijuana; 240 kilos are findings made by troops of the First Infantry Brigade No.1, in Corozal, Sucre.
