During the visit, Colonel, Second Commander and Chief of Staff of CACOM-4, informed the governor about the operation of the Helicopter Crews' Cradle, from where men and women protect citizens daily through operations such as aerial reconnaissance, firefighting, evacuations and aeromedical transfers, rescue of specimens victims of wildlife trafficking, volcanoes surveillance, among others.
Regarding the strategic meeting, Mrs. the governor said “In Melgar, today I reaffirm my commitment to making security promotion with social impact. Citizens security is our priority, that's why today we presented a Regional Plan that we will be carried out in close collaboration with the Military Forces and local authorities.”
To the Colombian Aerospace Force, it is essential to form alliances that benefit Colombians, something that was possible through the implementation of Resources, following the strategies and plans focused on works to promote citizens tranquility as the result of cooperation with government institutions.
