Thanks to the High resources and arduous training that Colombian Air Force pilots have, a group of six Guatemalan Air Force officers are receiving training for the use of night vision flight in the Bell-212 by an instructor belonging to the Air Combat Command No.4; training is carried out at the Central Air Command of Guatemala City, the capital of that country.

The course consists of a ground phase, in which pilots learn all the theory related to the operation as well as the night vision, and a practical phase, which is the flight phase, where they will learn the use and ability that will lead them to operate and master the night.

In this way, the Guatemalan Air Force recognizes the power of its counterpart Colombia and takes into consideration the fight against transnational crime and the different factors of instability in the region, carries out this course. with the aim of improving its resources and ensuring the 24-hour availability of its heli-supported fleet, with which they help to fulfill the different missions that protect sovereignty and prevent criminal acts in that country.

The Colombian Air Force has highly trained personnel at the service of the nation and serves with all its experienced resources in order to contribute to the different programs of international cooperation and humanitarian work in this part of the hemisphere.
