Thanks to a coordinated operation, in the department of Guaviare it was possible to beat drug revenues by about 300 million pesos and prevent the distribution of narcotics outside the country.
The National Army and the Police, in the hamlet Puerto Arturo, municipality of San José del Guaviare, find ten sacks, which contained about 1,000 rectangular packs of creepy type marijuana.
After the expert examination by the authority, it was established that there were about 500 kilograms of narcotic drugs, which would cost approximately 300 million pesos and would be destined for foreign countries.
These money would allegedly be used to strengthen the armed and logistical structures of organized armed groups that commit crimes in the region.
During the operation, there was the arrest in flagrante delicto of a 39-year-old man, who was transporting the drug in a vehicle, who was charged with the crime of manufacturing, carrying and/or trafficking in narcotics. In the same way, 55 gallons of gasoline were found by troops, which is a precursor for the production of illegal drugs.
