Permanent operations on the road axis, have led to counteract the plans of drug trafficking to pass through highways of Huila, important shipments of narcotics. A new blow to these structures with the capture of a man and the discovery of 18.40 kilos of marijuana, was dealt.
The operation took place in the hamlet Chorrillos in the municipality of El Pital, when a search was conducted voluntarily on Mr. Alfredo Salamanca Congo, finding that, in the back of the motorcycle, in a fiber sack, he was carrying 13 packages with marijuana.
According to the preliminary inquiries, the 34-year-old man, moto-taxi driver, would have gone out of the municipality of La Plata with the hallucinogen. Such packages if passed through the department of Huila would reach a cost of $ 14,400,000 pesos, a price that would increase when leaving in the department of Huila.
After the capture in flagrante, the individual, the motorcycle and the illicit substance were put into custody of the authority for the crime of trafficking, manufacture and / or carrying of narcotics.
