According to military intelligence information, this narcotic would have an approximate cost of 3,600 million pesos.
Thanks to a checkpoint by troops of the National Army and the National Police at the toll gate in the municipality of Villa Rica, north of the department of Cauca, a search was carried out to a vehicle where 226 sacks containing six tons of creepy-type marijuana were found by troops.
In the operation, the individual who was transporting the narcotic was arrested and was put into custody of the authorities, as well as the vehicle found. In addition, it was possible to establish that the hallucinogen would belong to the Dagoberto Ramos residual structure that commits crimes in this area of the department.
With this result, the illicit finances of the armed groups in the region are heavily hit.
