During two coordinated operations conducted by the Colombian Navy and the National Police, in coordination with the Attorney General's Office, it was possible to find war material and arrest an individual in flagrante delicto in the Special District of Buenaventura – Valle del Cauca.
The first operation was carried out in the locality 8 of Buenaventura, where an M-16 rifle was found in a vacant lot, with a magazine and 14 5.56 mm caliber cartridges, which apparently belonged to the Los Espartanos faction of the La Local Organized Gang.
On the other hand, in a street of locality 11 of the Special District, an alleged member of the Organized Gang Los Shottas was arrested in flagrante delicto, who was carrying a firearm, a magazine and six cartridges, which would be being used to carry out criminal activities, generating anxiety to the inhabitants of the sector.
The arrested man and the war material were put into custody of the authorities.
