Heavy blow of the military and police forces to the narcotrafficking in El Tarra, Norte de Santander

In the village Martillo Bajo, in The municipality of El Tarra, Norte de Santander, Colombian Air Force, the National Army and the National Police, through a joint and coordinated operation, found three laboratories for production cocaine hydrochloride and two laboratories for the production of coca base paste belonging to the front Hector of Organised Armed Group, GAO, ELN.

 

As a result of this operation, five illegal laboratories were neutralized and 1,277 Kg of cocaine hydrochloride and 543,5 Kilograms of coca base paste were, as well as chemical materials that were used for the development and production of the drug, making an economic loss of $ 9,420,357,00 million pesos, which won’t be used for further attacks against the well-being of colombians.

 

The military forces and the National Police will continue to work hand in hand with the firm aim of weakening drug trafficking structures, as well as protecting the country's environment and natural resources, thereby reducing the criminal activity of illegal armed groups.
