37 rudimentary constructions for the production of coca paste base were found by troops and destroyed in the department of Guaviare.
475 thousand doses of cocaine hydrochloride valued at six million dollars were found by troops in the department of Meta.
In the framework of operations against the transnational crime of drug trafficking in the Colombian Orinoquia, 37 constructions used for the production of coca paste base were dismantled by units of the Colombian Navy, Colombian National Army, the Colombian Aerospace Force and the National Police, in the department of Guaviare. In the same way, in the department of Meta, the authorities, in coordination with the Attorney General's Office, found 190 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.
The first result took place thanks to the timely deployment of the troops of the Military Forces in different rural areas of the municipalities of El Calamar, El Retorno and San Jos茅, in the department of Guaviare, where 37 rudimentary structures were found by troops with 9,275 gallons of liquid precursors, 2,545 kilograms of solid precursors and 6,345 kilograms of coca leaf, as well as utensils, appliances and other elements used for the production of coca base paste.
The constructions, together with the supplies, would cost about 600 million pesos, and were destroyed in controlled conditions on the place, damaging the Organized Armed Groups that profit of the trafficking of illicit substances and commit crimes in the Colombian Orinoquia.
Simultaneously, units of the Colombian Navy, Colombian National Army and the National Police, guided by military intelligence information, deployed near the village of Carimagua, municipality of Puerto Gait谩n - Meta, where they intercepted a bus-type vehicle with three individuals of Colombian nationality, who were transporting 190 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.
The three men and the material found were put into custody of the authorities, thus preventing the commercialization of more than 475 thousand doses of cocaine, valued at more than six million dollars in the international illegal market.
