At the village La Primavera, in the department of Vichada, an aircraft of the Colombian Aerospace Force arrived with the mission of saving the life of a pregnant woman of the Sikuani indigenous people who had serious complications with her pregnancy, requiring an urgent transfer to a health care center.
The C208B Caravan aircraft of Air Combat Command No. 2, CACOM 2, with military medical personnel, assisted the patient receiving her stable, after the coordination conducted by the National Center for Personnel Recovery CENRP and the municipal authorities of Vichada.
Once on board, she received permanent monitoring of vital signs, oxygen and other medical supplies, leading her to arrive quickly and in a timely manner to the capital city of Meta, where she was received by an ambulance to be taken to the Departmental Hospital.
In this way, crews and medical personnel of the Aerospace Force is constant in their capacity to reach the villages to protect the inhabitants, taking a metal angel to continue saving lives.
