This man apparently would have been an offender for four years in this Organized Armed Group in the departments of C贸rdoba and Sucre.
The arrest of this individual identified as Leonardo Montes L贸pez, who would be the alleged ringleader of area for the substructure Manuel Jos茅 Gait谩n of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo, took place in the Central Park of the municipality of Galeras (Sucre).
Troops of Navy Battalion No. 14 attached to Navy Brigade No. 1 in coordination with members of the Military Forces and SIJIN of the National Police, were alerted about the work of this individual, on whom an arrest warrant had been issued for the crime of association to commit aggravated crimes.
Immediately, an operation of search and military control of the area began over the urban area and alias Oscar was captured. Once in the place, the background of the individual was verified, managing to establish that he was required by the Attorney General of the Nation.
According to the investigations, alias Oscar was the zone ringleader of the GAO Clan del Golfo del Golfo in Sucre, with criminal interference in the municipalities of Corozal, El Roble, Galeras, Sincelejo and Sinc茅.
This guy would be offending since 2017. Alias Oscar is in the same way responsible for three homicides in the department of C贸rdoba and one in the department of Sucre. The arrested individual was taken to Sincelejo to continue with the prosecution process.
