Bogot谩 D.C. The Colombian Military Industry, Indumil, signed a Government-Government cooperation agreement with the Republic of Paraguay, where Colombia offers the company's industrial capacities to supply firearms, ammunition and other military equipment for the Paraguayan Military Forces.
This cooperation agreement signed by both countries was carried out through a formal ceremony which counted on the presence of the general manager of Indumil, Admiral (in retirement) Hernando Wills V茅lez; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay, Francisco Barreiro Perrotta; Ms. Miryam Ben铆tez, second secretary in charge of Economic and Commercial Issues of the Embassy of Paraguay; the General of Division Enrique C茅sar Caballero Medina, the director of the Directorate of War Material, Dimabel; Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Colm谩n Ayala, Frigate Captain Pedro Osvaldo Ayala Franco, and the Deputy Minister of Defense for the Social and Business Group of Defense (GSED in Spanish), the general (in retirement) Jos茅 Javier P茅rez Mej铆a.
"These transparent projects help the Military Industry expand the experience and confidence of its production portfolio to other latitudes of Latin America. Its seal of guarantee refers to products that have been tested in combat. In addition, the commitment of the institution in strengthening commercial ties with other countries strengthens," said Admiral (in retirement) Wills, general manager of Indumil.
