The Municipal Secretariat of El Cerrito, department of Valle de Cauca, received important social support through the distribution of first necessity supplies managed by the Colombian Aerospace Force. This operation, led by the Comprehensive operation Section of the Air Combat Command No. 7, contributes to the well-being of the most vulnerable families in the territory, especially those with minors of age.
Within the framework of this activity, the transport and distribution of 3,000 diapers for children was carried out, essential supplies to alleviate the economic burdens of the benefited families. The coordination conducted by the municipal administration and the Institution led to coordinating efforts efficiently, ensuring that aid reached those who need it most timely.
107 people were benefited during this activity, including 52 mothers and 55 children, who received this support in the midst of a social context that demands constant accompaniment. The distribution was carried out prioritizing sectors with higher vulnerability indices, thus strengthening local social programs.
This initiative reflects the firm institutional commitment to continue working for the well-being of the remote communities of southwestern Colombia. Through operations like this, the Institution's support for promoting safer and more supportive environments is reaffirmed, where State activity translates into tangible well-being for families.
