As a result of the continuous military operations against the problem of drug trafficking, this crime, which generates serious harm to people, continues to be damaged.
Within the framework of military operations, joint with the Colombian Air Force and coordinated with the National Police, troops of the Command Against Drug Trafficking and Transnational Threats, unit a of the Aviation Division, dismantle a laboratory for the production of cocaine hydrochloride with approximately one ton of the illicit substance, in the rural area of the village Granadillo, in the municipality of Córdoba, Nariño.
Through this important result, it was possible to destroy in controlled conditions more than 792 gallons of cocaine in solution, as well as liquid, solid precursors and elements used for the manufacture and production of the drug.
By carrying out this military operation against the residual organized armed group Grupo 48, these illicit activities are hit in more than 9,200 million pesos, and the entry into the international market of more than 2,000 million doses is stopped, which leads to saving millions of lives that fall into the consumption of these narcotics.
