This individual is accused of receiving more than 33,000 million pesos annually as a result of extortion and kidnapping of businessmen, farmers, ranchers and merchants in Villavicencio, Puerto Gaitán, Mapiripán and other municipalities of Meta department.
Alias Jhon Naranjo is related to the targeting of selective assassinations and was in the same way linked to the support networks for residual structures of the residual organized armed group Structure 10, in the department of Arauca.
In the operation carried out in Mapiripán, the ringleader tried to escape and was injured. Troops work for saving his right to life, so he was taken to a health care center in San José del Guaviare. A pistol and several pamphlets that he used to intimidate the inhabitants were seized from him.
