The man was traveling in a bus with hallucinogens, which would apparently illegal distributed in the center of the country.
Troops of the Air Infantry Battalion Colombia No.28, stressing its commitment for the municipal security, and in coordination with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, captured a man carrying 40 kilos of marijuana.
The capture was possible thanks to the intelligence work of the National Army and the Air Combat Command No.4, after receiving information from the community about the presence of a young thin man in a bus, who apparently was transporting narcotic substances to sell them in the region.
For this reason, the support of the National Police was required to carry out the preventive and review work, which allows to find the public transport vehicle and the individual, in the sector known as El Acopio de Girardot, who had with him four packages of narcotic drugs and two PVC tubes which had hallucinogens inside.
The 35-year man was put into custody of the authorities to respond for the crime of trafficking or carrying narcotics. The National Army, through the Thirteenth Brigade, works day and night to ensure the security of the inhabitants of the center of the country.
