In a joint effort to provide well–being and support to the most vulnerable communities, the Colombian Aerospace Force, in coordination with institutions such as the Mayor's Office and the Malambo Hospital, carried out a Medical and Humanitarian Assistance Activity in the Atlantico municipality - AAMHU, with the aim of providing comprehensive health services and distributing essential aid to the inhabitants.
During the activity, consultations in Family Medicine, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Nutrition, Speech Therapy, Dentistry and Nursing were dispensed, in addition to provide vaccination and breast examination services, thus contributing to the detection, treatment and prevention of diseases.
In addition to the assistance of the Juan N. Corpas Foundation, Optometrists for Colombia Foundation, Minuto de Dios Corporation, ACESCO Foundation, and the Liga contra el Cancer, Mannapack rice, wheelchairs and medicines were distributed as part of the social commitment of the Colombian Aerospace Force with the improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants in the regions.
This operation not only represents a direct support to the families of Malambo, it in the same way strengthens the institutional activity and the bond of trust between the inhabitants and the Institution, prevailing the legitimacy of the State in the territory.
