Thanks to the tracking work of the troops in the area, the exact finding of alias 'Marrano' was achieved, when he was coordinating the purchase of military accessories for the residual Organized Armed Groups of alias 'Gentil Duarte'
Caquetá. In of a joint and coordinated operation conducted by the Joint Task Force Omega and the National Police, alias 'Marrano', ringleader of the support network for residual structures of alias 'Gentil Duarte', was captured in rural area of Caquetá.
'Marrano' belonged to the former Eastern Bloc. He continued to conduct his criminal activity in the Residual Organized Armed Groups of alias 'Gentil Duarte', where he coordinated the logistics and finances of the criminal structure in the departments of Caquetá and Meta.
Alias 'Marrano' will have to answer for the crimes of aggravated homicide, aggravated conspiracy, terrorism, extortion and fabrication, trafficking and carrying of firearms.
This individual is in the same way implicated in several judicial investigations. He is accused, among others, of having participated in the killing of two policemen in Playa Rica, in the department of Meta, in events that occurred on December 18 of the last year.
