The effective and coordinated operations carried out by the Colombian Military Forces and the National Police led to the finding of more than two tons of Cripy marijuana in the Colombian Orinoquía region.

Thanks to information provided by the Civic Participation Network of the Eastern Naval Force, through a checkpoint in the sector known as La Primavera, Vichada, it was possible to intercept a dump cargo vehicle, in which 2,117 kilograms of the hallucinogen were transported.

During the operation, two individuals were arrested for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying of narcotics and the vehicle in which the drug was traveling was seized. The personnel and equipment were put into custody of the authorities.

With this result, it is possible to prevent the commercialization and distribution of more than 211,000 doses of marijuana, which in the illegal market would cost more than 3,000 million Colombian pesos; resources that directly finance the organizations that commit crimes in the region.
