In just 7 days, 21 soldiers of the 90th Special Operations Engineer Battalion installed a semi-permanent modular structure with which mobility is restored to the province of M谩rquez, Oriente and Neira, including the Tenza Valley.
During the rainy season of 2022, the Sisa bridge collapsed, which disturbed the communication between the Tenza Valley and the center of the Boyac谩 department.
In response to the need in the sector, and in a joint work with the National Risk Management Unit, the Government and the territorial, local and municipal authorities, the installation of a semi-permanent modular metal bridge type 3S BRIDGE, of 24.38 meters, of reinforced single double configuration, with a load-bearing capacity of 40 tons was carried out.
This structure benefits about 85,000 inhabitants, who, thanks to the tireless work of the soldiers, will be able to travel safely and easily trade their products, which contributes to the socio-economic development of the region.
