Six kilometers of tertiary road in the municipality of Balalaika, municipality of Santacruz, west of the department of Nariño, received maintenance by Military Engineers of the National Army.
Men of the Engineers Battalion No. 23 'General Agustín Angarita Niño', with the support of the Cavalry Group No.3 'José María Cabal', Municipal Government of Santa Cruz de Guachaves, Asojuntas, the office of Infrastructure and Mines of the Governorate of Nariño, made the adaptation and expansion of six kilometers of tertiary road in the municipality of Balalaika.
This work benefits 1,100 people in the area, leading them to reactivate their economy and improve their quality of life. This in the same way helps the social and economic development of the area and generates greater reliability of the community towards the operation conducted by the National Army through its Military Engineers.
