The construction benefits the farmers of eight villages who required the structure to pass the loads of their agricultural products.

The National Army by implementing strategies to bring alternatives to vulnerable communities to boost development, through the Military Engineers Battalion No.12 'General Liborio Mejia' and the Mechanized Cavalry Group No.12 'General Ramón Arturo Rincón Quiñones ', put into service in the village La Ceiba, of the municipality El Doncello, a pedestrian bridge that was put into maintenance at the request of the farmers of the sector.

The works that were executed in a period of two months, after an agreement conducted by the Municipal Administration that provided the resources and the Twelfth Brigade that contributed the workforce and security, benefit the inhabitants of the villages La Ceiba, El Diamante , El Recreo, El Cafeto, Las Nieves, El Bosque and El Morrocoy, who had been isolated due to risks in the structure caused by the use and time.

For this reason, with the use of the capabilities of the National Army a complete maintenance was carried out to comply security standards.

This work will guarantee the transit of more than 30 families with loads of plantain, coffee and cassava on which they base their economy, from the hamlet La Ceiba towards the municipality El Doncello.

These operations are framed in the principles of Unified Comprehensive Action, led in the territory by the Sixth Division of the National Army through the line of approach by infrastructure projects in the frame of Fe in Colombia program to unite institutional efforts in order to improve the conditions of life of the vulnerable population in the Department of Caquetá.
