Thanks to the joint operations that have been carried out by the Colombian Air Force and the Colombian Navy, transnational organized crime has once again been impacted.

In the waters of the Caribbean Sea, near the sector of Bah铆a Honda, in the department of La Guajira, a go fast boat was detected, which was identified thanks to the follow-up that the authorities have been carrying out to these transnational organized crime groups, who proceeded to intercept it finding two people, 19 bags and 14 barrels.

That ship was detected thanks to the follow-up of a platform of the Colombian Air Force, which supported the Unity of the Rapid Reaction of the Navy of Colombia, to the point at which the go fast was, facilitating the interception and preventing the boat going toward foreign waters with 496 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride and 9.4 kilos of marijuana, which would be marketed in the different countries of North America and Europe. This result complements the interceptions in which approximately one and a half tons of narcotics had been found by troops and destroyed.

With this result, three heavy operations have been conducted against groups of transnational organized crime in less than a month, achieving impacts on this illegal business that hit the security in the seven departments of the Colombian Caribbean. These operations seek to mitigate this crime of the organized armed groups that are sustained through this illicit activity.
