As a result of the military operation, troops of the National Army and the Colombian Air Force captured two members of the ELN, who, traveling on horses, transported the alkaloid.
In military operations against the criminal finances of organized armed groups, troops of the National Army and the Colombian Air Force, using information provided by the Civic Participation Network, intercepted two individuals who mounted two mules carrying 52 packages containing 75 kilograms of coca base paste, belonging to the Anorí substructure of the ELN.
The events occurred in the village Los Trozos, Tenche Arriba sector, in the municipality of Anorí, in the department of Antioquia. The substance was being taken to a pier to be later transported to Medellín, in the department of Antioquia.
The individuals, 31 and 57, together with the alkaloid were put into custody of the 83rd prosecutor's Office, for judicial process.
