These explosives apparently belonged to alias "Gentil Duarte"
In recent hours, the Joint Task Force Omega in a joint operation coordinated with the National Police, discovered and subsequent destroyed more than a ton of explosives, in the municipality of Puerto Concordia, in the department of Meta.
The operation was conducted thanks to the intelligence of the National Navy, who together with the troops of Marine Infantry, the National Army and the National Police, arrived in the village El Recreo where this material was hidden in an illegal depot.
In the hideout there were in the same way 27 explosive devices ready to be planted in the area and eight electric detonators that are used to make explode the mixtures.
This material presumably would have a lethal range of more than 100 meters around.
