These laboratories, apparently, belonged to the Residual Organized Armed Group Structure 48, who commit crimes in this area of the country.
The Joint Task Force 'Omega' in joint operations under Plan Bicentenario 'Heroes of Freedom', achieved the discovery and destruction of three laboratories that produced coca base paste, in Putumayo.
Last week, in the village San Fernando, rural area of the municipalities of San Miguel and Valle del Guamuez, the soldiers found these three structures of approximately six square meters.
The laboratories contained gasoline, Nutrimon, ammonium sulfate, battery acid, chopped coca leaf, caustic soda, lime, cement, coca base in process and other elements necessary to process the alkaloid.
