After the review of more than 250 practices implemented for 2025 in the eighth of the Recognition of the “Good Practices of Sustainable Development”, the Colombian Military Forces received the “Environmental Recognition to the Plan -LOE AMAZONIA PLUS-, granted by the Global Pact Red Colombia and the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá, an event in which those practices of excellence of the military forces that contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and their associated goals were celebrated and provided visibility.
The objective of the soldiers, sailors and aviators in this project has always been that of sustainable development in which the General Command of the Military Forces of Colombia contributes, through the PLAN LOE AMAZONIA, protecting, restoring and promoting the sustainable use of Ground Combat Battalion ecosystems, managing forests in a sustainable way, fighting desertification, stopping land degradation and halting the loss of biological diversity.
In this way, Colombian National Army, the Colombian Navy and the Colombian Aerospace Force reinforce their commitment to the work and implement projects and initiatives aimed at caring for and preserving the environment.
