In the course of a joint, coordinated and interagency operation, it was possible to find, prosecute and neutralize eight infrastructures for the production of cocaine in the Department of Choc贸.
The mission was carried out by men of the Colombian Air Force, the National Army, the Police and the Attorney General's Office in the municipalities of San Jos茅 del Palmar and Sip铆, where it was in the same way possible to find 18.9 kilograms of coca base paste, 2,434 gallons of gasoline, 240 kilos of cement, 50 kilos of chopped coca leaf and 132 kilos of macerated leaf.
With this result they harm directly the finances of Organised Armed Group, GAO, Eln, who commits crimes in this area, stop reviving a large sum of money used to sponsor their illegal practices, in addition to diminish the environmental damage caused by these laboratories.
