In the last few hours the Buenaventura Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) in a coordinated operation with the Gaula of the Police arrested by court order a member of the organized gang La Local - Los Shottas, who is known as Colocho.
According to the investigations, the arrested man is apparently the ringleader in the El Triunfo, Nueva Granada and La Unión neighborhoods of the Doce Locality, he would be in charge of carrying out the extortive kidnappings and collection of money from extortion against of the productive groups of merchants. He is in the same way accused with being in charge of selective homicides, drug trafficking and forced displacement.
This individual would apparently be under the criminal command of alias Diego Optra who is in command of La Local group that is dedicated to extortion, drug trafficking, hitmen and social control, among other crimes.
As part of the arrest, a pistol-type firearm, 2 magazines, 17 cartridges and two cell phones were found by troops, which were put into custody of the First Specialized Prosecutor's Office.
