Responding to the call for help of the inhabitants, in the rural area of Mandé, Municipality of Urrao, an Angel configured helicopter of the Colombian Air Force was driven to save the life of a minor of two years of age, who had suffered an ophidic accident.

Immediately the request was received by the Government of Antioquia, the metal Angel was deployed to this area, to conduct the aeromedical evacuation of the little one, who was bitten by a snake when he was at home.

During the flight, Air Force paramedics monitored his vital signs until he reached the care center, where he was distributed stably in Quibdó, Department of Chocó, to be treated by specialists.

Despite the adverse weather conditions, the high level of training and expertise of the crews of the Colombian Air Force, led to the successful completion of this mission to ensure the immediate medical assistance of the minor.
