About 60 kilos of drugs were produced monthly in these places that would become part of the illegal finance network of the Jorge Su谩rez Brice帽o Block. Within the framework of military operations framed in the Ayacucho Plus Joint Strategic Campaign Plan, troops of the Omega Task Force found and destroyed in controlled conditions three laboratories for the production of coca-based pasta and a seedbed.
These military operations were carried out in a rural area of the municipality of Puerto Rico, Meta; there, members of the Military Forces in the same way found a seedbed with more than 3,600 coca seedlings, ready to be planted. In the same way, they found 210 kilos of coca leaf to process, about 48 kilos of solid precursors and about 300 gallons of liquid precursors, in addition to 17 plastic barrels and other elements used in the production of the drug.
In the south of the department of Meta department, the Omega Task Force of Colombian National Army is strengthening the security operation with the aim of neutralizing the criminal activities of this structure and weakening drug trafficking activities.
