As part of the activities carried out by the Colombian Air Force with the support of other institutions, this branch extended its wings of hope to reach the municipality of La Gaitania, municipality of Planadas, with a Development Support Activity that benefited more than 400 people.
A wide variety of free of charge medical services were provided by specialists who are part of the Professional Officers of the Reserve of the Colombian Air Force. Among the services provided, we counted on: pediatrics, gynecology, internal medicine, general medicine, psychology, physiotherapy and odontology.
These activities of approach to the civilian population would have been possible without the alliance and support of the municipal administration, the Army, the National Police and for this specific case, the Review and Implementation detachment in the municipality, who jointly contributed resources, means and human talent to bring a complete institutional set of services to the population of this municipality and its surrounding villages.
The children were participating in the recreation provided by members of the National Army who, through paint and balloon shapes, filled the children with joy, who received presents donated by the Air Force.
