The team of Fe en Colombia of the National Army came to the community of this hamlet, promoting ties of fraternity with the population.

The Bicentenary Heroes of the National Army in order to contribute to the recovery of the social fabric of the most vulnerable municipalities of southern Tolima, are deployed along the most remote hamlets in order to carry a message of love and commitment to all communities.

This time, the Comprehensive Action Support Command with its Support Battalion of Comprehensive Action and Development No.5 with its Fe in Colombia team, together with the Ground Operations Battalion No.18 of the Fifth Division, have worked through workshops and playful and recreational activities with adults, young, boys and girls of the hamlet La Esmeralda Alta in the municipality of Planadas.

With the interest of working hand in hand with the population in the south of Tolima, the National Army conducted the activities that have taken place on March 22 and 23 and have benefited more than 120 children in sports activities such as championships of Microfootball, games such as inflatable jumping, park activity (cinema in the Park), hairdressing, mental health workshops and distribution of sports kits, carrying with them a message of stabilization and approach through a comprehensive work.
