Thanks to inter-institutional operations, it was possible to harm drug trafficking structures by more than 1,150 million pesos.
In operations of territorial control, in the framework of the Bicentenary Plan Heroes de la libertad, operation José Inocencio Chincá, National Army troops, with the office of the Prosecutor, arrest an individual who was travelling with more than 380 kilograms of marijuana; apparently the man is member of the group of alias Jhoncito of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure, Sixth Dagoberto Ramos Ortiz, who commits crimes in the department of Cauca.
Through military intelligence, search and control work on the highway, especially on the road that leads of the municipality of Chinchiná, Department of Caldas, to the capital city of Antioquia, a sector known as Las Pavas, the soldiers found a campero-type vehicle. At the time of the inspection, there were 660 packages of different shapes and weights, which contained the narcotic.
The material found would be distributed in more than 38 thousand doses of 10 grams each, which would have an approximate cost of 1,150 million pesos and according to information of the authorities, it traveled from the south of the country to the intermediate cities and the capital city of the country.
The arrested individual was put into custody of the authorities to continue with his judicial process as well as the vehicle and the drug. This result leads to damage the system of illegal finances of the residual Gao Dagoberto Ramos Ortiz structure, and neutralize the distribution of narcotics in this region of the country, contributing to the damage of drug trafficking structures.
