In Campo Hermoso Alto, exactly at kilometer 38, via Suaza-Florencia, soldiers of the Special Operations Battalion of Military Engineers No. 90, of the National Army, together with the personnel of Incarreteras, conducted the construction of a modular military bridge. This work mitigates the blow that suffered the roadway due to the heavy rains that occurred in the sector, last July 26, which isolated thousands of inhabitants of the municipality of Colombia, in the department of Huila.

Through multiple efforts, military units provided the technical capacity, manpower and security conditions necessary to conduct this work, with the main purpose of facilitating access for people passing through the area to market their agricultural products to other inhabitants, reactivating trade and the economy of this region of the country.

The work will have 51 meters in length, a capacity of 52 tons and has a cost of approximately 2500 million pesos. Construction work began on 29 September and is expected to be inaugurated in 15 days.
