The captures were made possible by military intelligence work, which led to the discovery of 28 kilograms of cocaine
Troops of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Cundinamarca Group, attached to Brigade 13 of the National Army, in a work coordinated with the Technical Investigation Corps of the Prosecutor's Office, captured two individuals and found 28 kilos of cocaine in the sector of the toll booth Los Andes, on the North Highway of Bogot谩. The individuals are members of the Mart铆n Villa Organized Armed Group, who committed different crimes, including drug trafficking.
According to the report provided by the authorities, which led to identify the modus operandi of criminals, the cargo with the 28 kilos of cocaine camouflaged in plastic, would be transported inside a vehicle to the city of C煤cuta. The authorities have in the same way been able to determine that the operation caused an impact on the finances of this illegal armed group of at least 2.8 billion pesos, while those captured must face charges for the alleged crime of trafficking and carrying of narcotic drugs.
The command of Brigade 13 of the National Army, reiterates its commitment to the neutralization of these groups outlaw and invites citizens to report any crime to Line 147 of the Military Gaula.
