Thanks to the work of monitoring and rapid reaction, in operations framed in the Bicentennial Plan “Heroes of Freedom”, troops of the Special Energy and Roads Battalion No.20, of the Twenty-third Brigade of the National Army, achieved the capture of five people that apparently transported 22 kilograms of coca base, camouflaged in the tires of three motorcycles.
The events were reported in the Peñalisa - San Lorenzo Tunnel, municipality of Mojarras, where the individuals were captured in a coordinated operation with the National Police. The detainees were put into custody of the Attorney General's Office. In the same way the elements were put into custody to be brought to authorities.
