The first two captures were carried out in compliance with different judicial warrants issued by the Municipal Court of Pajarito, in the department of Boyacá, which link alias 'Claudia' with crimes such as homicide, traffic, manufacture and carrying of narcotics, use of illicit means and methods of warfare, and aggravated conspiracy for the purpose of terrorism and rebellion. These last two crimes in the same way were indicted to alias 'Yeison' or 'Toto'.
Alias 'Claudia', 29, was a member of the network of support for terrorism, head of militias, responsible for the support of criminal intelligence and coordinator of terrorist activities linked to the collection of extorted money.
On the other hand, alias 'Yeison' or 'Toto', 27, the last eight years in the illegal armed organization, served as a member of the Eastern Front, leader of the network of assassins to carried out a “pistol” plan against the civilian population and the Security forces, coordinator of the distribution of pamphlets alluding the collection of money under the criminal form of extortion to merchants and he was also facilitator for the purchase and reception of logistic material for the leaders of the Organized Armed Group, GAO.
Finally, in another effective military operation, two individuals were apprehended. They were traveling on a motorcycle YAMAHA RXS 115, model 2001 without number of chassis or plates, which according to information given by the civic participation network REPARC was going to be adequate with explosives to attack on the military and police bases of Sarare.
In this way, the coordinated work conducted by the different institutions of the State helps to ostensibly destabilize the ELN and neutralize its terrorist intentions against the civilian population and the Security forces, while it ratifies the unrestricted commitment of the National Army to provide security to the citizens.
