As part of the activities carried out in the program Fe en Colombia, the Fifth Brigade, of the Second Division of the National Army, through the Luciano D'el Huyar Battalion, brought development and wellbeing to the families of Sabana de Torres, in the department of Santander with the realization of a Development Support Activity.
About 280 inhabitants of the sector, benefited with general medicine, dentistry, nursing, personal care, prevention and promotion.
During this activity the children and adolescents enjoy the joy of the soldiers, who with games, music and fun activities, worked to provide recreation; in the same way children received clothing and presents.
These activities are part of the inter-institutional approach with the population, especially in isolated sectors where the inhabitants usually do not have the necessary resources to access these services.
