The properties are houses, commercial premises and lots were valued at more than four thousand five hundred and sixty-nine million pesos ($ 4,569,000,000).
The Quirón Task Force, jointly with the Colombian Air Force and interagency with the Attorney General's Office and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps), strike a heavy blow at the finances of the Front Domingo Laín Sáenz of the GAO Eln, in the Department of Arauca, with the seizure of seven of its properties resulting from illicit activities.
The effective military operation was carried out in the urban area of the municipality of Tame, where troops of the Eighteenth Brigade arrived at different points to make effective the warrants on houses, commercial premises and lands that would have been bought by figureheads for the outlaw organization.
According to the investigation, all these properties whose value would exceed four thousand five hundred and sixty-nine million pesos ($ 4,569,000,000), were acquired with money from kidnapping, extortion, cattle rustling, smuggling and illegal mining.
