Within the framework of the Ayacucho Plan, troops of the Cundinamarca Military Gaula, in coordination with the Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the Police and CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) Cundinamarca units, reported the dismantling of the Organized Common Crime Group Los Coterr谩neos.

The gang was made up of 8 people who were wanted with a court order for the crimes of aggravated extortion kidnapping, aggravated extortion, trafficking or carrying of firearms, accessories parts or ammunition, forced displacement, qualified and aggravated theft, along with the crime of association to commit aggravated crimes.

Those arrested, whose 10 cell phones were found by troops, identified themselves as members of the criminal structure Tren de Aragua to extort money ranging from 10 to 50 million pesos from their victims in exchange for respecting their lives and those of their relatives.

Thanks to the citizen denunciation and intense investigative work, 2 raids were carried out in Soacha, Cundinamarca, and in the city of Barranquilla, materializing the arrest orders against these people, 5 of them of foreign nationality. With the dismantling of this gang, the troops of the Cundinamarca Military Gaula of the 13th Brigade, provide more tranquility to the inhabitants and merchants of Soacha and conduct their operation against extortion and kidnapping within the framework of the institutional campaign I Do not Pay, I Denounce.
