Over the past 15 days, the Anti-explosive Team EXDE has destroyed nine rudimentary weapons, which Organized Armed Groups (GAO) have planted indiscriminately against civilians.
The National Army conducted a military operation supported by the Civic Participation Network, where were found and destroyed two explosive devices in the village known as El Troncal, in the municipality of Arauquita, Arauca.
The troops found and destroyed the first minefield, 10 meters away from a sports center, which has a large flow of people in the municipality of Arauquita.
Later, another explosive device was found on the right side of the La Soberanía road, which connects Caño Limón with Arauquita.
These deadly traps were destroyed in controlled conditions by anti-explosive experts of the National Army.
