Troops of the National Army Narcotics Brigade in a joint operation with the Air Force and coordinated with the Counter Narcotics Directorate of the National Police, were again able to hit the financial structure of the organized armed group Eln.

During a military operation, carried out in the village Dos Amigos, of the municipality of Tibu, in Norte de Santander, soldiers of the National Army, Air Force and National Police find and destroy a laboratory of cocaine made of 17 structures, which produced about 3,000 kilos of cocaine per month.

Within the process of dismantling this complex of illicit substances production, it was possible to find 310 kilos of cocaine, 693 kilos in process, about 1,400 kilos of solid precursors and 2,700 gallons of liquid precursors. The place in the same way concealed a distillery, an evaporator or badly called 'worm', nine microwave ovens, two drying tables, a system of precipitate, a scale, two boilers, five pumps, three washers and other machinery used for production of cocaine.

With this result, an economic impact of about 5,600 million pesos is dealt to the Juan Fernando Porras Martínez front of the GAO Eln, giving another blow to this structure that commits crimes in northeastern Colombia, whose production would be destined to expand its international markets.
