In development of a military operation of territorial control, troops of the Antiaircraft Defense Artillery Battalion No.2 of the Fifth Brigade, of the Second Division, found and destroyed a seedbed with approximately 34,000 coca plants, in the hamlet La Virgencita, in the municipality of San Pablo, in the south of the department of Bolívar.
This seedbed would be favoring the finances structures of the front Heroes y Martires de Santa Rosa of the Organized Armed Group Eln that commits crimes in this region of the department, putting at risk the security and tranquility of the population.
With these operations, the Bicentennial Heroes of the Fifth Brigade of the National Army reaffirm their commitment to the fight against organized armed groups that attack on the sovereignty of the national territory.
