Thanks to the coordinated work with the National Police, troops of the Command against Narcotics trafficking and Transnational Threats achieve this important result
Within the framework of the Bicentenary Plan Heroes de Libertad, special units of the National Army find, in coordination with the National Police, more than four tons of marijuana, which were transported in a truck.
The narcotic was seized thanks to the checkpoints conducted by members of the Military Forces who are in charge of military assistance in the department of Valle del Cauca.
This impressive operational result occurred in the municipality of Mediacanoa, municipality of Yotoco, a strategic mobility route that connects the main roads of the center of the country.
At the scene, the driver of the vehicle was arrested and put into custody of the authorities, in order to advance his prosecution process.
